What could be worse?

Do you see the world in which we are in?
Problems entangled together to form a massive, unbeatable monster.

1. Aging problem
2. Big firms winding up in a row
3. Consistent bad air quality
4. Credit Crisis
5. Demand contraction
6. Epidemics
7. Extreme Weather
8. Increasing unemployment rate
9. Oil price sky-rocketed
10. Poisonous food
11. Sluggish economic growth
12. Sub Prime Mortgage
13. Surging inflation rate
14. Terrorist attacks
15. Tightening financing conditions
16. Wall street turmoil
17. Wars

Just so sad with the world we are living. How is it going to be better?

A friend of mine did told me that we probably do not need to study that much; the world is falling apart. I do agree with him to some extent.

But nobody would take heed to his desperate call, I reckon. With the indeed fierce competition, coupled with the multiplier effect leveraged by shared perception of intense competition that again magnifies fear tremendously, people just would not listen. They would rather work and study to their death, rather than sparing a second to take a breath. Looking at them drives you mad and restless.

And most of the people being essentially one of them, cannot but is doomed to follow that haunted destiny.
So be it; but I am not going to commit that slow and painful suicide, shall I still be able to stay objective and conscious. But as I pray, I still have to file job applications...and case analysis, homework and exams. The world is sick.
