Revised Time Model

I noticed that I left out the essential features of a 3D world which should be embedded in the rolling sheet time model. I also include the revolution rate of the 4th axis, the time axis turning at natural time rate(denoted as 1X). Hereby it now resembles an ever-revolving paper block 4 dimensional model.

Also I noticed I made a mistake concerning the parallel world. It is instead a multiple existence in totality at the same time instant. Were it a parallel world, it would be better modulated as a completely distinct rolling sheet time model side by side along the original one.

Nihaha Theory was wrong; I need some Einstein

Just not more than a few days after posting Nihaha theory, I noticed that I was terribly wrong. I must have reversed the time/speed relationship.

The widely accepted assumptions of time/speed, as purposed by Einstein, and put in layman terms (as I am):
1. When speed approaches the speed of light, it stops.
2. When speed is considerably greater than that of light, it rolls-back.

So the equation that I suggested must have reversed. And the concept could be best illustrated using a vector graph. (To be uploaded later, if any)

But theoretically speaking, human could not withstand speed of light, let alone more than that. Physical strengths play a critical role here; but I think it is the multiple existences at different time instants, which is the unbeatable obstacle preventing human travelling back in time.

So it must not be a human that could validates the seemingly illogical first cause argument - which something could possibly caused itself to exist. But the God can, if it is supernatural as claimed by thinkers - so powerful that it can withstand great speed and multiple existences, all in one complete piece.

I am a Christian. I pray every day before sleep; I pray frequently before meal. Loyal as you may think, it was not surprising that I would feel guilty when I try to explain our existence using Physics. But now I am not - for discovering and getting to know more about his secrets, his magic, does not undermine his great might, nor does it deny his existence. It is His creation, his care, his love and great design that we should be thankful of; just as our parents gave birth to us. It does not matter if His act could be explained by science, or any vehicles that we understand with diligent effort.

While I admitted that I have been terribly wrong in the Nihaha theory before, I still take the view that, time, energy and mass should have some co-relations. I could be wrong again (which is more likely than not); but I would not be desperate, for it is error and mistakes that advance and perfect a person.

So I would have to refine the equation. Just temporarily purpose it is in the form of E=mc^2*unknown which have relationship with T. (Time constant)
Consider the following conditions:
When C=c, T=1
When C--> C=/When C>c, T<0
When C>0, T>0
When m=∞, T=0
When E=∞, T=0
Condition not sure whether to incorporate or not yet:
E>0 when T<0
E<0 when T>1
What is the feasible form (if there is) of equation which could satisfies all of the above conditions?

One thing that constantly interests me is that how can we leap forward in time. The assumption that infinite speed could roll back time does not means that speed less than the speed of light could help us advance in time. I am curious about how can it be brought about theoretically. Is it about T>1? If rolling back in time is such an endothermic process, would leaping forward means exothermic?

Would the previous suggestion about the change of rate of time upon birth of nova and destruction of star (and also formation of white dwarf star)still hold? That a huge exothermic explosion of heat of new star could accelerate time significantly, leaving enough time for the slow evolution to take place gradually, which seems othwewise impossible from the point of view of 'objective time'?

So many things are stirring in my mind. I need time to think, to think hard and deep. In vain it would most likely be (or definitely), nevertheless I prefer that much over rote memorization. It makes a person stupid and ignorant, unreceptive and dull.

Random thOUgHTs - Nihaha Theory

Just after my PHL 301 class and some wild thinking, I came up with the crazy idea of Nihaha theory. Frankly it is total bullshit. It is advised that you should never take it seriously and should laugh at the passage with a big 'Nihaha' smile.

We discussed about the First cause of change in last class. It claimed that 'nothing could cause itself to change'. I immediately think of a counter-example of spontaneous emission of alpha/beta/gamma particles of radioactive substance. A student instantly challenges me that the emission is due to Brownian movement. I bet it is wrong - for as long as I remember, radioactivity is independent of temperature and everything else - it just depends on time. If it is not so, then there would be no radioactivity at all at the temperature of absolute zero, which particles would not be freely moving at all - which I don't believe is the case. So if the radioactivity is not caused by Brownian movement, what is the underlying cause of change?

Time. Energy. Mass. Else for you to name.

Let's talk about energy first. Suppose radioactivity is caused by the conversion of the potential inter-particle energy to kinetic energy which emits the particle. E=mc^2 might applies here. This might corresponds to the Big Bang theory and reinforce the idea of Cosmo-expansion as well as origin of life. It gets more sense when coupled with TIME. Here I would like to purpose that Time has a certain correlation with Energy.

Biologist always said that energy is lost through food chains, by respiration and incomplete digestion. While it is debatable that the heat could return to the atmosphere and be recycled to the system, I still hold the belief that energy does lost. Consider this example - a speeding Ferrari accidentally hits a pedestrian, who was thrown high up in the air, smashed to a street light, and his bone broken into tiny pieces. Poor guy. The energy of the collision is converted from the chemical energy of gasoline to kinetic energy of the automobile and then a huge sound 'Bang'. It is difficult to believe that the energy released by the cracking bone and then horrible big sound could be recycled. So energy is continuously losing all the time. But how can we live with a world of definite energy?! There must be some way to compensate the loss or else our would won’t be sustainable. Remember the TIME that I mentioned earlier? It could be that through the elapse of time, energy is replenished at a rate equal or greater than the consumption. My business background automatically prompts me into thinking that harnessing energy from time would earn me great fortune. Sounds great - but if energy is replenished at a rate equal to the consumption as I suggested before, TIME HAS TO BE STOPPED to obtain energy, which is practically impossible at the moment. Anyway. With that co-relation idea of time and energy in mind, if energy is released at a super fast rate then time is accelerated; if it is consumed at a super fast rate then time is traced back - fancy that. Don't think I am mad. So at the birth of a nova, a new star, tremendous energy is released. It purposed that time is accelerated. With that acceleration of time, evolution of organisms seems possible. That seems to reinforce the Big Bang theory that life is originated from a single mass initially. Now let’s incorporate mass into the consideration. As I said earlier, energy could be replenished at a rate quicker or equal to the rate of consumption (or loss). So where does energy in excess go to? It could well be converted to mass, like the dark matter in the universe as suggested by some physicist – which leads to the constant expansion of the universe.

Lets purpose a new equation of E=mc^2*1/T, where when T=1 then it is the normal rate of time, and T=2 is half the rate of time, and alike. Applying the equation, how to leap forward in time, that is, making T=1/2, for instance? A speed equals to root 2 times speed of light would be necessary. Applying the equation again, how to slow time, that is, making T=2? Is it using less half the speed? Sounds it does not make too much sense. Maybe changing the variables of E and M? Who knows. Then how to make T=0, which is , to stop time? An infinite energy would be needed. Now the idea to harness time for energy seems to be not feasible – you have to input infinite amount of energy to get infinite amount of energy. Yet another proof of no free lunch.

Enough about equations. If the universe is originated by a single mass of infinite density (possibly constitutes of dark matter) just like Big Bang suggested, which I assumed to be like a black hole capable to suck in any matter, light and even energy, and also coupled with the argument that a body consuming energy at a superior rate would be ‘having a slow time’, what would happen? Consider the equation again, speed is zero. Energy is zero. Time is infinitely slow (and T close to zero) but never stops (T not equal to zero). What if that mass attain just a little bit of speed? When T is close to zero, a finite number divided by T would be close to infinite. E could suddenly becomes almost infinite, and that release of energy would speed up time again. A state of equilibrium would be reached when T=1.

But how the hell does that single mass came from? Is it a single physical mass or a mass of considerable or infinite energy? Who created that? Does it exist all the time from the beginning? And here we come back to the first cause argument. Philosophy is so interesting in that after some serious thinking, you think you get some sense, and maybe some answer; yet quickly you would find that you has came all the way back to the starting point. Interesting. Though it would sometimes disappoint you.

These are just random wild thoughts, unorganized, inconsistent and illogical. Just bear with me. And now that you have spared the time to read this crazy stuff, it is time for you to:

Philosophy tests your faith, really

While I heard that one of my friend has started to doubt his religion belief after taking several philosophy classes, and knowing that he is quite faithful to the religion, I did not quite believe.

Now that I have also taken a philosophy class, I knew he is telling the truth. I also started to question my intention to believe in God -
Is that I want to be engaged in a social network?
Is that I believe I can enjoy the maximum benefits just like Pascal claimed?
Or is that I just want something to believe in, for emotional comfort?
Have there been no legitimate and convincing evidence to show God's existence, why take the option to believe in God?

Think deep.
That's what I want. That's what I like.
I hate being told what to do and what is right, like in the accounting courses.
I wanna have open discussions and formation of opinion of my own.
I reckon that being told what is right based on the knowledge we have is useless - for that knowledge already exists. A bunch of students cramming materials the night before exam won't add into the pool of knowledge.
But thinker does. They created ideas. I appreciate, and admire them.

Hence I enjoy the two class here in UT. MAN374 and PHL301.
But definitely not the two accounting classes. They really sucks.
The professor just enjoy talking talking and talking, and leave no room for a single breath. He keeps urging the student to fall asleep, all the time. Oh my god.

美國之行, Updated

While things seems to be quite bad from my previous entry, they are getting a bit better now.

Just a thing to mention is the extraordinary high price of textbooks here. It costs USD $ 150 for a new, and USD $ 100 for an old one! Unbelievable! Ridiculous! I regretted sincerely for not bringing textbooks to US.

And food is expensive too. An ordinary cost around 6 dollars. For dinner, it could be 9 or 10. Just how the hell can Americans live on with that junk food, priced so highly? I tried to skip meals but you can't really do it all the time, do you?

Enrolled in three courses with significant writing components, in which two does not have any midterm nor final, I bet the workload could be tremendous and worst - continuous. I might need to abandon the optimistic hope that I could freely skip lessons and go on travel...

Also, my computer has not been fixed yet. It is a true nightmare for exchange students. The only thing that I could do for the moment is to wait. Wait wait wait.
